Facility Rules

These rules exist to keep athletes safe, protect our facility, and create a positive training environment. By entering Bat Breakers Academy, all athletes, parents, and guests agree to follow these rules.

1) Respect the Facility

  • Treat the building, cages, turf, nets, and equipment with care.

  • No hanging on nets or pulling on batting cage netting.

  • Trash goes in the cans—help us keep the facility clean and professional.

  • No sunflower seeds or gum inside the facility.

2) Safety Comes First

  • Helmets are required for:

    • Live hitting

    • Machine hitting

  • Only one hitter in the cage at a time unless a coach is running a drill.

  • No swinging bats outside cages or designated hitting zones.

  • Pitching is only allowed in approved areas and must be done safely.

  • Unsafe behavior = immediate removal (no refunds).

3) Outside Instructors Are Not Allowed

  • Bat Breakers Academy is a private training facility and is reserved for Bat Breakers staff instruction only.

  • Outside instructors/coaches are not permitted to provide lessons or training in the building, cages, or turf areas.

  • This includes:

    • Private lessons during open cage time

    • Small group coaching during rentals

    • Paid or “free” training in exchange for money, gifts, or favors

  • If instruction is needed, lessons must be booked through Bat Breakers Academy.

  • Violations may result in:

    • Immediate end of session (no refund)

    • Suspension or permanent termination of facility access

4) Athlete Supervision + Waiting Area Rules

  • Athletes must be supervised unless they are in a scheduled session or approved training.

  • No running, wrestling, climbing, or horseplay anywhere in the facility.

  • Siblings and non-participants must remain in the waiting area.

  • Keep noise and behavior under control—this is a training environment.

5) Proper Footwear + Gear

  • Athletic shoes only.

  • No bare feet, slides, crocs, boots, or unsafe footwear.

  • Water bottles are encouraged. Stay hydrated.

6) Cages + Equipment Use

  • Do not move L-screens, machines, tees, or training gear without staff approval.

  • Return all balls and equipment to the proper location after use.

  • If something breaks, report it immediately—don’t ignore it or hide it.

7) Food & Drinks

  • Water is allowed anywhere.

  • Closed-lid sports drinks are allowed.

  • No food in cages or on turf training areas.

  • No glass containers inside the facility.

8) Conduct + Behavior Expectations

  • No bullying, profanity, intimidation, or fighting.

  • Respect coaches, staff, athletes, and families at all times.

  • Parents are welcome to watch, but disruptive behavior or sideline coaching that interferes with training is not acceptable.

  • If behavior becomes an issue, staff may remove individuals immediately.

9) Scheduling + Time Rules

  • Your session starts and ends at the scheduled time.

  • Late arrivals do not extend the session.

  • Clean up and clear the area promptly so the next group can start on time.

10) Injuries + Liability

  • Report injuries immediately to staff.

  • Participation is at your own risk.

  • Bat Breakers Academy is not responsible for injuries caused by failure to follow rules or unsafe actions.

11) Damage Policy

  • Customers are responsible for damage caused by misuse, unsafe actions, or ignoring staff instructions.

  • Intentional damage may result in replacement charges and loss of access.

12) Lost & Found

  • Bat Breakers Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Unclaimed items may be donated or discarded after a designated time.

13) Staff Authority + Enforcement

  • Staff decisions are final regarding safety, facility operations, cage use, and conduct.

  • Failure to follow facility rules may result in:

    • Removal from the facility

    • Suspension of access

    • Permanent ban if needed
